The line
How the line works
Walk-ins and booked clients share the floor. This is how we keep it fair, on a Saturday most of all.
- 01
Step 1: Sign the board
Write your name on the board by the door. Names go up in the order people arrive.
- 02
Step 2: Watch the board
It shows who is next and which chair is open. Waits vary, and the board is the only clock we keep.
- 03
Step 3: Booked clients go at their time
If you booked, you are seen at your time and the line waits. Arrive a few minutes early.
- 04
Step 4: The line closes early
We stop adding names 30 minutes before close, so everyone on the board gets a cut.
On a Saturday
A chair ready when your name is called
There is a bench by the window and a few chairs along the wall. Stay close; when your name is next, we call it.
If you want a particular barber, tell the board when you sign in. Their wait is their chair's wait, and it can be shorter or longer than the rest of the floor.
Good to know
One person waits with each client
Parking in the lot behind the shop
